Concerned about your carbon footprint?
You can help the environment and save money too if you change your older boiler to a brand new high efficiency condensing boiler. This type of boiler could use up to 35% less energy to provide heating and hot water to your home. Condensing boiler manufacturers claim that the efficiency rate of their products can reach up to 98%, whilst conventional boilers usually only reach 70-80% efficiency.

 

The complete replacement of a boiler includes draining the old boiler system and removing the old boiler and flue, before supplying and fitting a new boiler and flue.

We would then make any alterations to the existing flow and return pipework, as well as making any alterations to the hot and cold connections to the new boiler.

Next we would find the best position to install the new condensate discharge pipework and a new timer too. A flush of the system and adding an inhibitor would follow, with the electric connection made by qualified electrician.

Finally a certificate will be given and Gas Safe will be notified of the new boiler installation. The old boiler will be removed along with any rubbish left over from the installation.

Following the new boiler installation, we would make an important courtesy call to the customer. This will make sure that the installation meets our customers' expectations and we can check that they are fully happy with how to operate the new system and controls.
